COVID 19 IMPACT
The impact of the pandamic on the tourism industry in Labuan Bajo and Komodo
The 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic Is Laving A Strong Impact On All Tourism Industries. Especially For Poor Countries And In Remote Places The Devastation Is Immense. Many Small Business In This Places Where Shut Down All Of A Sudden And Left With Little To No Income. Many Had To Close Down And Uncounted People Lost Their Jobs And Struggle To Feed Their Families.
Most Of This Small Tourism Operators Try To Keep Their Employees As They Are Aware Of Their Responsibilities To The Communities, But As Longer The Shut Down Will Be In Place As More They Run Out Of Their Possibilities. Many Of Them Will Struggle To Recover In The Future If They Even Can.
For Most Of Those People Who Lost Their Jobs There Are No Other Jobs And There Are No Social Security Nets In This Places. Tourism Was A Major Force Building Up Employment For Communities And Bring Education, Food And Development To The People In Remote Areas, Special In Indonesia.
We Hope You As Tourists Will Soon Come Back And Book Your Holidays With This Small Tour Operators And Help To Get Them And Therefore The Communities Here Back 0n Their Feet.
