Ok, I have to let you know that your crew and the whole experience was actually the best! The 3 days on Samara I think was the best 3 days of my life (and we were on Samara the week after getting married haha so it was better than our wedding). The crew were exceptional, Vitus was so kind and helpful and honestly the BEST tour guide ever. Nothing was too much trouble, he was always happy to help us with anything we need and was so friendly. He was full of knowledge about all of the islands and was always kind enough to tell us as much information as we wanted.

All of the crew were incredible, the food was exceptional! The chefs did the best job! Our cabins were always cleaned to perfection and looked after incredibly well. All of your crew were super friendly and helpful. Aris was a brilliant bar tender and knew our favourite drinks by the afternoon we boarded and he even organised to take an esky with some bintangs for us to the sandbank we snorkelled on, how amazing is that! And what great customer service!

I highly recommend this cruise 😍 It was magnificent from start to finish. The snorkeling was magical. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The boat is magnificent. Thanks again for everyone and to the photographer who gave us incredible images. 🙏🏼🥰

We did a 4 day/3 night cruise with Samara Liveaboard in Komodo National Park. From start to finish it was a magical experience. The staff on board are incredibly helpful, cheerful, and professional. We felt safe the entire cruise. The meals were delicious, and all the tours, snorkeling and activities were wonderful. We 100% recommend Samara Liveaboard and will be back for another cruise as soon as we can. Many thanks to the whole team.

Absolutely fantastic experience. We just finished our 4day, 3 night trip and it has been the highlight of our month long Indonesia trip. We were 9 aboard with a crew of 10. The boat is simply beautiful, our room had a large bed with attached bath and air conditioning. The lounge area was ample for all of us when aboard. A full bar and a large dining room had plenty of room for our scrumptious meals. The chefs put out a full array of dishes for each meal. Each day we had multiple activities from mountain sunrise hikes, to hiking Komodo to see the dragons, to multiple snorkeling spots each day. The snorkeling was outstanding. We would load up into our small boat with our guide, a photographer and our boat driver. They provided all equipment as needed and would drop us in the water where we would snorkel until we reached the boat again. The fish,rays turtles and amazing coral were everywhere. The absolute best part of the trip was the crew. You couldn’t have asked for a more competent, caring fun bunch of guys. We were super lucky as our boat mates were super fun. 4 Aussies 2 Mexicans and US 3 American bonded quickly and really enjoyed each other. We all were so sad when the trip ended. We will definitely be back for another adventure in the future.

Our trip with Samara Liveaboard was an absolute highlight of our time in Indonesia. The crew was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone had an amazing experience. The snorkeling was phenomenal, with crystal-clear waters teeming with manta rays, turtles, colorful fish, and vibrant coral reefs.

The schedule was perfectly balanced, with 2–4 activities a day that included both water and land excursions. We loved the variety—snorkeling, hiking to scenic viewpoints, visiting remote beaches, and of course, the unforgettable Komodo dragon tour where we also spotted wild boar roaming the park.

The boat was beautiful with plenty of room to spread out on the decks with luxurious touches like hot water showers, flush toilets, continuous high speed wifi, endless cocktails and Bintang (you’ll face a bar tab at the end, though!). A really nice touch were the solar panels that allowed us to operate without noisy generators–we could hear them on distant boats. Our shipmates were fun–max of 12 guests.

Meals on board were fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, and the whole experience felt relaxed yet well-organized. Samara Liveaboard struck the perfect balance between adventure and comfort. Highly recommended if you’re exploring Flores and the Komodo Islands and want a luxury experience!

Dear Hans and crew, first of all thanks a lot for these beautiful pictures, Hans! Thanks a lot for the exceptionally wonderful time we had on the boat! We enjoyed every minute of it. Please send our big thank you to all of the crew for making a lot of beautiful memories on the most beautiful place we have ever been! We will keep these 4 days in our head and heart for ever and the beautiful pictures and video’s will be kept in a special place. Now we have to rehab from all the animal spotting, all the lovely views, food, private photographer, great service, cocktails, paddleboards and everything else I forgot to mention!

Magical, memorable, magnificent.

Took the fam (wife, 3 kids 18, 15 & 6 and myself) on a 3-day 2-night circuit around Komodo National Park on the Samara. Hand-crafted boat was gorgeous and comfortable, staff were terrific, food was delicious and plentiful and the environment was just incredible. The personal touches of Fresa (Indonesian) & Marc (Swiss) came through in every detail and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

Definitely an experience that will never be forgotten! The room was always cool and the beds were clean and comfortable. Surprisingly, my children had no problem sleeping on the boat. We never had to worry about being hungry cause they serve abundant, delicious food from morning til’ evening. And to top if off, the entire crew was sensational! Very friendly and never hesitated to help us and to take care of the children. Thank you for the wonderful trip, we will definitely come back again someday

We are very and happily satisfied with the boat facilities, especially the delicious food that they served. The crew was friendly and helpful, even though we had a little trouble with unfitting snorkeling equipment, over all my family and I really enjoyed the experience of our holiday in Flores with Samara Liveaboard
